Glass Partitioning

Glass partition walls are a series of individual toughened glass panels, which are suspended from or slide along a robust aluminium ceiling track. The system does not require the use of a floor guide, which allows easy operation and an uninterrupted threshold.

Features of the system:

  • Custom made to individual requirements.
  • The system is designed to open inwards or outwards without compromising the integrity of the system.
  • Choice of stacking options – opens left or right or a combination of both.
  • The system can be used for straight, curved or angled openings.
  • Effective weather proofing as a result of brush piles on top and bottom profiles and a side wall junction. End caps on top and bottom profiles prevent water leakage onto the side walls.
  • The running mechanism is quiet and smooth to operate as a result of the hard wearing and durable fittings found inside the mechanism.
  • The system is maintenance free.
  • The glass panels offer double safety as the top and bottom attachments are both glued and screwed on.
  • A double locking system.
  • Glazing options in 8mm or 10mm toughened safety glass, dependant on height of the opening
  • Standard colour finishes with the option to powder coat to meet specific requirements.
  • Maximum panel height is 2600mm and maximum panel width is 800mm. To ensure an aesthetically pleasing installation the panel width can be adjusted according to the clients requirements.
  • A drainage system forms part of the installation to ensure that water does not pool at the opening.

Glass partitioning is often used in offices, to split up working spaces.

However it can also be used in the home - in kitchenbathroom, or study spaces - therefore utilising the most space and light available.
